Tour Description
A specialized tour to appreciate the eclectic architecture of Old Havana (Habana Vieja) and the adaptation of different architectural styles to suit Cuban conditions.
- Walk through Old Havana’s streets, focusing on the notable architecture during the last five centuries showing the various examples of different construction periods, the presence of several styles and the harmonious dialogue between buildings from the Republican period with their colonial background and a compact urban tissue of semi-irregular blocks and narrow streets including the Palacio de los Capitanes Generales, Presidential Palace, Castillo de la Real Fuerza, Catedral de La Habana, Basilica de San Francisco de Asis, Calles Obispo, El Templete and the old Stock Exchange.
- Visit to the Scale Model of the City to understand the urban development of the city.
